Emma Sternberg holds a Bachelor of Health Science(Complementary Medicine) through Charles Sturt University and an Advanced Diploma of Health Science and a Diploma of Mind Body Medicine from The College of Complementary Medicine. She is also a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society and a past President of the Integrative Complementary Medicine Association.
Kinesiology became a passion of Emma’s over 15 years ago when she saw the the changes it brought her brother who had facial tics. Kinesiology not only stopped the tics but improved his self-confidence. Once Emma started the Kinesiology course she was prompted to start questioning herself, it was through this that she learnt first hand the value of kinesiology.
Kinesiology not only delves into the true cause of an issue, it brings a sense of understanding to many unknowns in ones life and you think to yourself- ah-ha! thats why I reacted that way or thats why my back is painful! Having that understanding allows you to move on, a little lighter than before.
In each session Emma’s aim is to empower her clients to discover more about themselves and to help them to move through life with more ease and happiness. As every person is unique Emma will provide a treatment that is just right for you which aims to overcome anything from aches and pains to addictions, as well as emotional issues and learning difficulties
Emma is located in Mona Vale, Sydney.
“With a fun range of health problems, I get to see many different doctors regularly. They poke and prod and try to figure out what is wrong with me and the best meds to fix what they find. When I heard about Kinesiology, I was immediately intrigued and thought it could be just what I needed.
The day of my first visit to see Emma, I was extremely busy and stressed, cursing myself for making the appointment when the last thing I had time for was to drive up to Mona Vale. Between the traffic and the heat that day, I arrived late and in an awful mood. However, anybody who knows Emma can imagine I left feeling the complete opposite – practically floating down Pittwater Road feeling calm and centered.
Now when I am going through a hard time, I will go completely out of my way to see Emma because I know it is exactly what I need. Unlike other doctors or health care professionals, she actually asks me what I need, and tailors an approach to my individual circumstances.
I am so glad that I found Emma. I rave about her to absolutely everyone I know because I can honestly say she has changed my life. She has taught me how to take care of myself and listen to my body. She has helped me understand myself and I am in such a better place now for knowing her. ”

Robyn Smith
I asked Robyn to come and join me in clinic because of her energy, knowledge and wisdom as a practitioner. Lucky for me, she said yes to being there for you as I wind down for the arrival of Baby number 2!
Hi, my name is Robyn Smith and I’ve been a Kinesiologist and Mind-Body-Medicine Practitioner for 6 years now. I am also a certified meditation instructor, and since 2014 I’ve been lecturing in the Kinesiology & MBM faculty at the College of Complementary Medicine.
I first discovered Kinesiology in early 2009 after talking with my hairdresser! Isn’t that where all the great information comes from?! I was intrigued with what she was explaining, and so I made an appointment to go along and find out for myself what it was all about. Following that appointment, I booked into a short course as I was hooked and wanted to find out more. I felt like I’d found the key to the lock that I had been looking for. I enrolled at CCM and completed a dual diploma in 2011.
Prior to life as a Kinesiologist I worked as an Executive Secretary at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research for 10 years, a Clinical Trials Coordinator at the George Institute for International Health, and then as a Carer Support Officer with the Northern Sydney Local Health District.
I am also a mum to two teenage boys aged 16 and 13. My eldest son was a very anxious child who suffered greatly from separation anxiety, he was bullied in primary school, and had very low self-esteem as a result. With the help of Kinesiology I have watched him grow into a confident, well-adjusted, kind and happy young man.
I am passionate about what I do, I LOVE being a Kinesiologist and going to work every day. It is a real privilege to be involved in the healing journey of the clients that I see, to help both young children, adolescents and adults alike overcome the issues that stand in their way of living a full and happy life, the life they deserve ☺
I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your journey too.
